Custom Photo-to-Embroidery Commissions
I create custom hand-embroidered artwork based on your photographs. Each piece is stitched entirely by hand, with an emphasis on color, texture, and the details of the original image. I work from all kinds of photographs -- people, pets, places, weddings, concerts, and everyday scenes. If you're not sure which photo would work best, I'm happy to help you choose.
Pricing
All prices include your finished piece displayed in a natural birch wood embroidery hoop, with your choice of a faux suede hanging strap or wooden display stand. For larger pieces, unusual sizes, or professional framing, please inquire about custom pricing.

If you allow me to feature your original photograph alongside the finished embroidery on my website, social media, or in future advertising, you'll receive 10% off your commission. This is optional, and I will never share your photographs without your permission.
The Details
Choosing a Photo
Not every photograph translates well into embroidery, so I'm happy to help you choose the best option. My embroidery focuses on movement, color, texture, composition, and the overall feeling of a photograph rather than realistic facial details. Well-lit images showing most or all of the subject's form, interesting surroundings, and distinctive colors or textures tend to work well for reference photos. Avoid close-up portraits that rely on facial features since they are less appropriate for my style.
Please provide 2-5 photographs so that I can help you select the one that will translate best into thread.
Turnaround Time
Once your commission reaches the top of my queue, please allow approximately 2-4 weeks for completion, depending on size, complexity, and framing. I'll provide an estimated start and completion date before we begin.
Payment
I require a 50% deposit to reserve your place in my commission queue. The remaining balance is due upon completion, before I ship or deliver your finished piece.
Cancellations & Refunds
You may cancel for a full refund before stitching begins. Once I begin the work, the deposit becomes nonrefundable. Because each piece is custom-made by hand specifically for you, all completed commission sales are final. I do not accept returns or exchanges. If your piece arrives damaged or there's an issue with your order, please contact me within 7 days of delivery so we can work toward a resolution.
Artistic Style & Revisions
Each piece is my artistic interpretation of your photograph, rather than an exact reproduction. We'll agree on the reference photo and overall composition before I begin stitching. There are no changes once embroidery begins.
Shipping & Delivery
I provide complimentary local delivery within Portland, Oregon. For orders requiring shipping, I will confirm costs before I accept your commission.
